Terms of Service

What this is

A free tool that plays and downloads a birthday song with a name sung in the lyrics. By using it, you agree to what follows. There is no account to create and nothing to buy.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. It is free, it is run by a small independent project, and it can be slow, wrong, or unavailable without notice. Do not build anything important on top of it, and do not rely on it being there the day you need it.

Not every name is in the library. A name that has not been recorded yet joins a queue, and there is no promise about when, or whether, it will be recorded.

The audio is generated by AI

The songs are produced in batches with AI singing-voice software. This matters more here than in most disclaimers, so read it before you send a song to someone:

• Pronunciation can be wrong. Names from outside English are the hard cases. Listen to the result before you send it.
• Not every song is checked by a person. We may publish a recording without listening to all of it first.
• A recording can be replaced. If we re-record a name to improve it, the audio served for that name changes. Keep your own copy of a version you like.

Getting a name wrong in a birthday message is worse than sending nothing. Checking it is your job, not ours.

Third-party dependency

The site runs on third-party hosting, database, and storage providers, and the songs are made with third-party singing-voice software. If any of them goes down, changes its terms, or raises its prices beyond what a free tool can absorb, this tool may stop working. We have no control over that.

What you may do with the songs

Play them, download them, and share them with people for personal, non-commercial birthday greetings. That is the entire point.

What you may not do

• Use the tool to harass, impersonate, or mislead anyone.
• Submit names or text intended to produce abusive, hateful, or sexual content.
• Run scripts against it in bulk. Requests for new names are rate limited, and persistent abuse gets blocked.
• Resell the output or present the service as your own.

Names you type

Only submit a name you are comfortable sending. Do not enter someone's full legal name, or any other personal detail, expecting it to stay private — see the Privacy Policy for what is stored and for how long.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this tool, including a mispronounced name, a song that never arrived, or a birthday that went badly. It is a free song generator.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the tool means accepting the current version.
